The CalaMhòr Herd Project has been established to support a small herd of nature recovery grazing ponies living as ecological partners within the ashwoods at Ardtornish. Simply being who they are, the ponies will help to support the restoration of the ancient rainforest by shaping habitats, opening space for diversity, and reconnecting lost ecological processes.
We’d love to invite our local communities to join us for a relaxed, informal drop-in session to chat with the team and hear more - whether you’re simply curious or interested in volunteering, you’ll be very welcome.
