It's that magical time of year when the bagpipes call and kilts twirl—get ready for the Morvern Highland Games 2025! Mark your calendars for Saturday, July 19th at Knock Park, Lochaline. This isn't just any Highland Games; it's dubbed one of Scotland's most scenic Highland Games, so you won't want to miss it!
Our family-friendly Games is a perfect blend of tradition and fun, promising a day packed with excitement. The festivities kick off at 10 AM with children's sports, leading up to the grand opening at 12 noon, led by the Mallaig, Ardnamurchan and District Pipe Band.
Throughout the day, they'll be track and field events, Heavy Events, and quirky contests like our famous 'wife' carrying race. There’s the Morvern Mile, plus a treasure trove of food and craft stalls, whisky and gin tastings, chainsaw carvings, a bouncy castle, a rodeo bull, highland dancing, and a refreshments tent with live music keeping spirits high all day long!
And the fun doesn’t end there… Gala Week rolls in after Games Day, offering a jam-packed schedule of activities for every age. Rain or shine, it's bound to be the highlight of your summer!
Programmes will be on sale throughout the West Highland Peninsulas in the lead up to event or available to buy at the gate on Games Day.'
