Following the success of her debut solo album Land of Eden, Lucie and her trio have performed at major festivals including Celtic Connections, Stonehaven Folk Festival, Godtfolk, Copenhagen Jazz Festival, and Aarhus Jazz Festival. A rising voice in contemporary folk, Lucie was a finalist in BBC Radio Scotland’s Young Traditional Musician of the Year 2021 and a nominee for ‘Up and Coming Artist of the Year’ at the 2023 Scots Trad Music Awards.

Scottish harpist Lucie Hendry returns to the touring stage this September with her trio, sharing music from her upcoming second album, Ashes to Art.

Blending the Scottish folk tradition with the vibrant Nordic contemporary scene, Lucie’s innovative, nature-inspired music reflects her life between Scotland and Denmark. She is joined by Scottish guitarist Chris Amer and Danish drummer Christoffer Skovhus. Together, they bring Lucie’s original compositions to life with intricate melodies, rich rhythmic textures, and a cross-cultural spirit that honours tradition and embraces curiosity. Following the success of her debut solo album Land of Eden, Lucie and her trio have performed at major festivals including Celtic Connections, Stonehaven Folk Festival, Godtfolk, Copenhagen Jazz Festival, and Aarhus Jazz Festival. With Ashes to Art, she continues to chart a bold, expressive path for the lever harp in modern folk music.
