Situated on the shores of the Sound of Mull, Lochaline Harbour is a modern, community-owned marina offering excellent facilities for sailors, visitors and the wider Morvern community. With visitor pontoons, moorings, showers, laundry facilities and a harbour office, it provides a welcoming base for exploring Scotland’s spectacular west coast.
The harbour has continued to grow beyond its role as a marina and is now home to a range of facilities for both visitors and local residents. New for 2026, the Lochaline Harbour Gym offers a well-equipped fitness space with cardio and strength-training equipment, providing a convenient place to stay active while enjoying time in Morvern.
Visitors can also enjoy an evening at the HarBar, the harbour’s waterside bar, which offers a relaxed setting to unwind after a day on the water, exploring the peninsula or travelling through the area. With views across the harbour and Sound of Mull, it has become a popular gathering place for locals and visitors alike.
Throughout the year, Lochaline Harbour also hosts and supports community events, including the popular LochRun 5K, which showcases the stunning local scenery while bringing people together from across the area and beyond.
Owned and operated for the benefit of the community, all income generated through Lochaline Harbour is reinvested into local facilities, services and projects across Morvern. Whether arriving by boat, enjoying a drink at the HarBar, taking part in an event or using the new gym, Lochaline Harbour is a vibrant hub at the heart of the community.
