Ardnamurchan Charters offer charter boat trips aboard our Aquastar Laurenca II around the waters of Loch Sunart and Loch Teacuis. Founded in 1985 this small family business offers wildlife watching, dive and snorkel charters in the waters of Loch Sunart, Loch Teacuis and beyond.
Skipper Andy Jackson and wife Allison are caretakers of the Isle of Carna in Loch Sunart and also run self catering Laga Lodge. Andy is a keen diver, wildlife watcher and photographer, Station Officer for the Coastguard and a founder member of CAOLAS (Community Association Of Lochs And Sounds) marine conservation charity and of the Carna Conservation Initiative.
Andy and Allison have an active role in establishing and promoting the Loch Sunart marine protected area (MPA) and the first UK Mission Blue Argyll Hope Spot. Combining their decades of local knowledge and experience in marine and wildlife based tourism in offering sustainable, low impact experiences from family friendly short boat trips to full day adventure charters.
2 or 4 hour or whole day Wildlife Watching Charter Trips - Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Fridays, leaving Laga Bay at 10am or 2pm for up to 12 passengers. Opportunities to see seals, otters, seabirds including eagles, deer, purpose, dolphins and minke whales. Hear about the history and geology of the area and explore the wonderful landscape from the water.
Join our regular Thursday trip with a maximum of 12 guests.
Four hour private dive charters available for up to 12 people offering the chance to explore beneath the surface of Loch Sunart or Loch Teacuis, suitable for all experience levels of divers or snorkellers.
