Looking for a hidden escape with coastal views? The Seashell is a bolthole for two overlooking Loch Sunart, with an open fireplace and a spa bath. It is located in the hamlet of Glenmore, within walking distance of the Ardnamurchan Distillery, the Visitor Centre with its cafe and museum, and just around the corner from Camas Nan Geall.
As well as the attractions in Glenmore, The Seashell is ideally located for visiting Ardnamurchan Lighthouse and Sanna Bay to the west, and is also a stone’s throw from Ardtoe and Castle Tioram to the east. With the Kilchoan ferry terminal based only 30mins away, a day trip to Tobermory should also be on your wish list. During the summer popular boat trips also run to the very popular Staffa (to see the puffins) and Fingal's Cave.
The house offers the opportunity to see plenty of wildlife. Pine marten and badgers regularly visit the garden and eagles often fly overhead. You'll also usually see the neighbouring highland coos in the field next door. If the weather gets a bit Scottish it's a fantastic place to hole-up until it passes.
